Jennifer Oh was born on May 26, 1999 in Yonkers, NY. She currently lives in Texas with her parents Sam and Young Hwa Oh and one brother, John. Currently, Jennifer is a senior at Texas Connections Academy and she will graduate from high school in 2017.

Jennifer started taking gymnastics for fun when she was seven years old at C.A.T.S. Gymnastics in Cheshire, CT where she trained under coach Bryon Knox. When Jennifer was at C.A.T.S., she placed third on uneven bars at the 2010 Level 7 CT State Meet. In 2011, she placed third in the all-around, first on vault and second on uneven bars at the Level 8 CT Stat Meet. She qualified to Level 8 Regionals in 2011 and 2013.

Jennifer and her family relocated to Texas in the summer of 2012, so Jennifer started training at World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA) in Plano, TX. Jennifer started competing level 9 for the 2013 season. At the State Championships, she finished fifth in the all-around, second on floor exercise and third on balance beam. Jennifer placed sixth in the all-around and second on balance beam. This qualified her to the Level 9 Western Nationals where she placed seventh on floor exercise.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2014, Jennifer finished eighth on vault and floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she placed 14th in the all-around. In 2015, Jennifer had a great meet at the State Championships where she finished third in the all-around with a 38.250, first on uneven bars and fifth on balance beam and floor exercise. At the Region 3 Championships, Jennifer placed fourth in the all-around with a 38.000, first on floor exercise and sixth on balance beam. She qualified to the JO Nationals in Des Moines, IA.

In 2016, Jennifer finished first in the all-around with a 38.350 and second on vault, balance beam and floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she placed second in the all-around with a 37.950, first on balance beam and second on floor exercise. Jennifer qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Ft. Worth, TX where she placed third in the all-around with a 38.225 and fifth on uneven bars and floor exercise. She made the Junior Olympic National Team.

Currently, Jennifer is preparing for the 2017 season. She trains 36 hours per week at World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA) in Plano, TX under coaches Janelle McDonald and Livia Ponoran. Jennifer would like to compete for a college gymnastics team.
