Jessica's parents enrolled her into recreational gymnastics for fun when she was five years old. She fell in love with the sport and quickly moved from recreational gymnastics to doing competitive gymnastics. She has been training at Diamond Gymnastics Academy in Stilwell, KS her whole gymnastics career. She was the 2015 Level 5 State Bars, Floor and All-Around Champion. She skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2016 season. She placed first in the all-around with a 37.575 and first on uneven bars and balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships, finishing fifth on vault and seventh on uneven bars.
As a level 8 gymnast in 2017, Jessica placed third in the all-around and first on uneven bars and floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she finished eighth in the all-around with a 37.100 and fifth on uneven bars. Jessica did well in 2018 where she qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals after finishing sixth in the all-around and third on balance beam at the Region 3 Championships.
Jessica competed level 10 in 2020 and qualified to the Level 10 State Championships. She was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Currently, Jessica trains 24 hours per week at Diamond Gymnastics in Stilwell, KS under coaches Jeremy Bourdette and Katja Bullock. She is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals. Her long-term goal is to compete for a Division I college gymnastics team.
