Jolie's parents signed Jolie up for gymnastics when she was six years old because she loved to do handstands, cartwheels and tumbling. She has been training at Rochester Gymnastics Academy in Rochester, NY since 2013. She was the 2015 Level 4 NYS State All-Around Bronze Medalist (38.575), 2016 Level 5 NYS State All-Around (38.375), Uneven Bars & Floor Exercise Champion, 2018 Level 7 NYS State All-Around (38.500), Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and Floor Exercise Champion. She was named to America's Top 100 in levels 5 and 6.

As a level 7 gymnast in 2018, Jolie earned gold medals on uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around with a 38.500 at the State Championships. She was on the New York Super Team representing at the Region 6 Championships where she helped the New York State team to place first. Jolie finished second in the all-around with a 37.950 and first on uneven bars and floor exercise. She was named to America's Top 100 on balance beam.

Jolie had another great season in 2019 as a level 8 gymnast. She placed second in the all-around with a 37.825 and first on uneven bars and floor exercise at the State Championships. She helped the New York Super State team to win the Region 6 Championships. Jolie also grabbed gold medals on uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around with a 38.325. She was named to America's Top 100 on uneven bars (2x) and floor exercise. In 2020, Jolie qualified to the Level 9 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.

When Jolie isn't busy training 30 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys volunteering at her church, hunting, fishing, dancing and playing clarinet. She is an honor student at Palmyra Macedon School. She is a member of National Junior Honor Society. Jolie is passionate in both classroom and gymnastics and she hopes to obtain a gymnastics scholarship to a Division I university with a strong academic program.
