Katie traveled to Hampton, Virginia for the Junior Olympic National Invitational Tournament today. She finished sixth in the all-around and fourth on balance beam with a 9.350 in the Junior C session. Good job Katie.

This weekend at the Region 5 Championships, Katie finished tenth in the all-around in the Junior C session. She won the uneven bars with a 9.400. Good job Katie!

Katie had a great meet at the Level 10 Ohio State Championships where she won the all-around title with a 38.050 in Junior A session! She earned gold medals on uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise scoring a 9.450, 9.500 and 9.425 respectively. She also earned a silver medal on vault with a 9.675.

Katie's all-around score was the highest all AA in all age groups for Ohio in level 10. There was not another 38 AA score for level 10 by any competitor. Congratulations Katie!

Today at the Rushmoor Rosebowl Event Finals in London, England, Katie finished fourth on uneven bars with a 11.900. Good job Katie! Katie's tentative schedule for the 2011 season has been posted.

Currently, Katie is in London, England with some of her Buckeye teammates for the Rushmoor Rosebowl. Today was the first day of competition where Katie helped the Buckeye team to place third right behind The Academy and Heathrow. Katie placed third on uneven bars with a 11.950 and qualified to the event finals tomorrow. Good job Katie!
