Welcome to Kayla Hoffman’s Official Website! Kayla is a nineteen-year-old collegiate gymnast. She has been a competitive gymnast since the age of three. Kayla became junior international elite in 2004. She qualified to US National Championships in 2004, 2005, and 2006. At the 2005 US Nationals, she placed 8th in the all-around and 6th on uneven bars. She also made her first US National Team. She represented for the USA for the first time at the 2006 Moscow World Cup in Russia. Kayla qualified to two event finals and placed seventh on bars and floor. She made the US National Team again in 2006.
In 2007, Kayla decided to retire from elite gymnastics, so she could focus on getting ready for her first year at University of Alabama. During 2007-2008 season, Kayla helped the team to win 9 competitions throughout the season, including the South Central Regional Championships. Kayla won seven vault titles as well as six floor exercise titles. At the NCAA Championships, Kayla placed 5th on vault and 6th with the team. After Kayla's regular season was over, it showed that Kayla was No. 5 on vault, No. 33 on uneven bars, and No. 18 on floor exercise. She also earned All-American honors and was named to the inaugural SEC All-Freshman team as well as earning second team All-Sec.
