On March 19, the Alabama gymnastics defeated Michigan, 197.575-196.875. Kayla scored a 9.9 on both floor exercise and uneven bars. On March 27, Kayla helped the team to finish second ta the SEC Championships. There, Kayla finished second on both uneven bars and floor exercise scoring a 9.9 on both events.

Today, the team traveled to Lexington, Kentucky for the NCAA Regionals, where they finished first with a team score of 197.400. Kayla scored a 9.9 on vault, 9.850 on uneven bars and 9.9 on floor exercise. The Alabama gymnastics team qualified to the 28th consecutive NCAA Championships. Congratulations Kayla!

No. 1 Alabama traveled to Norman, OK to compete in a dual meet with No. 2 Oklahoma, where they lost, 197.275-197.950. Kayla won the all-around title with a 39.500. Good job Kayla!

Last Friday, Kayla did the all-around, where she finished third with a 39.400. She helped the Bama team to win over Kentucky, 197.225-195.650. Kayla placed second on vault (9.95), first on bars (9.875) and fifth on beam (9.8). GOod job Kayla!

Kayla helped the team to defeat Florida, 197.425-196.600. Kayla finished sixth on vault scoring a 9.875 and first on uneven bars scoring a 9.875. Good job Kayla!

No. 1 Alabama traveled to Baton Rouge, La. to compete in a dual meet with No. 12 LSU yesterday. The Alabama gymnastics team had a rough start but finished strong, where they lost to LSU, 196.050-196.475. Kayla scored a 9.8 on vault.

The Alabama gymnastics team traveled to University Park, Pa. for a three-way meet with Penn State and University of Minnesota. Kayla helped the team to defeat both teams with a team total of 196.600. She finished 5th on vault and uneven bars scoring a 9.875 and 9.825 respectively. Good job Kayla

Kayla helped the Alabama gymnastics team to defeat the University of Arkansas, 197.450-195.500. Kayla finished second on vault with a 9.925 and first on uneven bars scoring a 9.9.

Kayla and the Alabama gymnastics team had a dual meet against Georgia today. Kayla helped the Crimson Tide to defeat the Georgia team, 196.275-195.500. Kayla finished fifth on vault with a 9.825 and third on uneven bars scoring a 9.875. Good job Kayla! Alabama will host Arkansas next weekend on January 22.

The Alabama gymnastics team began their 2010 season last night at Auburn Gymnastics. The Crimson Tide defeated Auburn Tigers, 195.650-195.200. Kayla finished fifth in the all-around with a 38.950. She placed 4th on vault and second on floor exercise. Good job Kayla. Full results have been posted from the meet.

Kayla had a fantastic weekend at the 2009 NCAA Championships in Lincoln, Nebraska. On Thursday night, Kayla scored a 9.875 on vault. She helped the gymnastics team to advance to the Super Six. On Saturday night, Kayla scored a 9.9 on both vault and uneven bars and helped the team to finish second right behind Georgia. Congratulations Kayla!

Kayla helped the Alabama gymnastics team to win the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships title earlier today. Kayla placed first on vault and uneven bars scoring 9.900 and 9.950 respectively. Congratulations Kayla!

The Alabama gymnastics team placed first in a 3-way competition with Oklahoma and North Carolina. Kayla won a gold medal on both vault and uneven bars scoring 9.95 and 9.9 respectively. Good job Kayla! The gymnastics team will travel to Nashville, Tennessee for the SEC Championships tomorrow night.

Kayla competed on vault earlier today at the Alabama vs Florida dual competition. Florida defeated Alabama, 196.875-195.625. Kayla tied for the first place on vault with a 9.9! Good job Kayla.
