Keely started gymnastics at 18 months because she was a daredevil from having two older brothers. She needed to get some of that energy out. She started her gymnastics career at at Olympic Dreams Gymnastics in Youngstown, OH and has been there ever since.

Keely was three-time National TOPS "B" Team Member. She moved up to level 8 for the 2012 season where she placed sixth the all-around and seventh on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships. In 2013, she continued competing level 8 where she placed fourth in the all-around with a 37.400, second on uneven bars and fifth on vault at the State Championships. At the Region 5 Championships, Keely placed sixth on vault with a 9.350 and 16th overall with a 36.950.

In 2014, Keely competed level 9 but was unable to compete most of the season due to an injury. She moved up to level 10 for the 2015 season. She placed seventh on uneven bars at the State Championships, qualifying to the Region 5 Championships. In 2016, Keely placed sixth on uneven bars at the State Championships and qualified to the Region 5 Championships. As a third-year level 10 gymnast in 2017, Keely finished eighth in the all-around with a 36.075 and third on uneven bars at the State Championships. At the Region 5 Championships, she placed eighth on uneven bars with a 9.250 and tenth on vault scoring a 9.150. In 2018, Keely qualified to the State Championships but was unable to compete due to an injury. Keely qualified to the Region 5 Championships in 2019.

Keely trains 20 hours per week at Olympic Dreams Gymnastics in Youngstown, OH under coaches Dawn and Gary Toussaint. Keely will join Kent State University gymnastics team during the 2020-2021 school year.
