Lauren Elizabeth Guerin was born on July 17, 2000 in Austin, TX to Noel and Heather Guerin. She has a sister, Meghan and two dogs named Gordon and Justin. Currently, Lauren is a senior at Jack C. Hays High School in Buda, TX.

Lauren tried soccer and dance but Lauren got bored so easily. She was happiest when she was climbing and balancing and jumping off of things. So, Lauren's parents decided to enroll her into gymnastics for fun at Olympia Hills Gymnastics in Buda, TX and never looked back.

Lauren was the 2008 Level 5 South Texas State Beam Champion, 2009 Level 6 District Floor Champion, 2009 Level 6 South Texas State Bars Champion and 2009 Level 6 Texas State Vault Bronze Medalist. As a level 7 gymnast in 2011, Lauren finished second in the all-around with a 38.675, first on vault and floor exercise and second on uneven bars at the State Championships. At the National Judges Cup in January 2012, Lauren finished fourth in the all-around and fifth on balance beam and floor exercise.

In 2012, Lauren moved up to level 8. She placed first on vault, floor exercise and in the all-around with a 38.725 at the State Championships. This qualified Lauren to the Region 3 Championships where she placed first in the all-around with a 38.700, first on balance beam and second on floor exercise. Lauren concluded her level 8 season at the Open Championships in Florida and placed fifth in the all-around and third on vault, balance beam and floor exercise.

Lauren started competing as a level 9 gymnast in 2013 where she placed second on uneven bars and balance beam at the Pikes Peak Cup. She was not able to compete rest of the 2013 season and entire of 2014 season due to an injury. Lauren came back in 2015 as a level 10 gymnast and competed in 3 open invitationals.

In 2016, Lauren finished third on floor exercise with a 9.600 and fifth on vault scoring a 9.550 at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she placed sixth in the all-around with a 37.425, first on floor exercise with a 9.700 and fifth on vault scoring a 9.425. Lauren qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Ft. Worth, TX where she placed 16th in the all-around with a 37.625, eighth on floor exercise with a 9.525 and ninth on balance beam scoring a 9.500. In 2017, Lauren finished sixth in the all-around, first on floor exercise and second on vault at the Region 3 Championships. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Indianapolis, IN where she placed 25th overall and seventh on floor exercise out of 56 gymnasts.

Currently, Lauren is preparing for the 2018 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 27 hours per week at Olympia Hills Gymnastics in Buda, TX under coaches Jeff Beal and Van Wright. Lauren would like to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals and Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup. Her long-term goal is to obtain a college scholarship to a Division 1 school.
