Lauryn followed her older sister into gymnastics at the age of two and never looked back. She has been training at Northeast Gymnastics Academy under coach Lori Dexter her whole gymnastics career. As a level 4 gymnast in 2010, Lauryn finished fifth in the all-around and second on vault at the State Championships. At the 2011 Level 5 State Championships, she placed fourth on vault and sixth on floor exercise. Lauryn moved up to level 6 in 2012 where she placed fifth on balance beam and floor exercise at the State Championships.
In 2013 as a level 7 gymnast, Lauryn finished in the top ten in the al-around and eighth on vault at the State Championships. In 2014, she placed sixth on vault and seventh on floor exercise at the Level 8 State Championships, qualifying to Region 7 Championships. Lauryn was unable to compete in 2015 due to an injury. She moved up to level 9 for the 2016 season where she placed first on floor exercise and sixth on vault at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, Lauryn placed in the top ten in the all-around and sixth on floor exercise. As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2017, Lauryn placed second on floor exercise with a 9.625 at the State Championships and qualified to the Region 7 Championships.
Currently, Lauryn is preparing for the 2018 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 20 hours per week at Northeast Gymnastics Academy in Wilkes-Barre, PA under coach Lori Dexter. Lauryn's long-term goal is to compete at the collegiate level.
