Madison Kipp was born on October 30, 2002 in New York City, NY to William and Evelyn Kipp. She has a younger sister, Emily and two dogs named Gabby and Lyla. Currently, Maddie is an honor student at Minisink Valley High School and she will graduate from high school in 2020. She is currently ranked in the top 10% of her class. When Maddie has time outside of gymnastics, she enjoys binge watching Grey's Anatomy.

Maddie started her competitive gymnastics career at Kennett School of Gymnastics in Goshen, NY. As a level 5 gymnast in 2013, she placed second in the all-around with a 37.500, first on floor exercise and second on uneven bars at the State Championships. Maddie was named to America's Top 100 on uneven bars, floor exercise and in the all-around. She skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2014 season. Maddie finished eighth in the all-around and seventh on uneven bars at the State Championships.

As a level 8 gymnast in 2015, Maddie placed second in the all-around with a 37.250 and first on balance beam. She qualified to the Region 6 Championships where she finished eighth in the all-around and third on uneven bars. She moved up to level 9 for the 2016 season. At the State Championships, she earned a bronze medal on balance beam. She qualified to the Region 6 Championships where she placed in the top ten. Following her 2016 season, Maddie moved to Galaxy Gymnastics in Orangeburg, NY.

Maddie continued competing level 9 in 2017. She finished second in the all-around and first on vault and floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 6 Championships, she finished first in the all-around with a 37.075, first on vault and second on uneven bars. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Lansing, MI, finishing second in the all-around with a 37.700, third on vault and uneven bars and fourth on balance beam and floor exercise. Maddie was named to America's Top 100 on vault with a 9.750. She was invited to the Junior Olympic National Training Camp.

In 2018 as a first-year level 10 gymnast, Maddie finished third in the all-around with a 37.550, first on floor exercise, fourth on balance beam and fifth on uneven bart at the State Championships. At the Region 6 Championships, she placed first in the all-around with a 37.200 and second on balance beam and floor exercise. Madison qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Cincinnati, OH. In 2019, Maddie placed second in the all-around and third on balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 6 Championships, she finished fourth on vault and fifth on floor exercise.

Maddie trains 24 hours per week at Galaxy Gymnastics in Orangeburg, NY under coaches Jamie Winkler, Sergei Petrouniak, Galina Petrouniak, Alexander Miretsky and Sergei Vaitenok. Maddie will join the Illinois State University during the 2020-2021 school year.
