Ever since I was young I always loved to be mentally and physically challenged. Every day in elementary school I would go back and forth non-stop on the monkey bars trying to beat my last set record. With blisters on my hands and scuffs on my knees, my mom came to the conclusions that my energy would not be easily contained. Finally, my mom signed me up for classes at Ace Gymnastics in hope to release the animal within me. It was not long before I found myself with a place on pre-team and later the level 3 team. Starting at the age of eight in 2012, I quickly moved up the levels. Never doubting my love for the sport, I continue to enjoy every moment and every obstacle I was faced with. The relationships that have been built and the opportunities I have had are none that could be found anywhere else.

I am now looking forward to the challenges that level 10 has to offer and know that I will become a better gymnast and person as each challenge is overcome. My goal is to complete my Junior Olympic career as a nationally ranked level 10 who has an opportunity to compete as an NCAA athlete, obtaining a Division 1 college gymnastics scholarship while pursing my academics in math, science and engineering.

I volunteer weekly to help autistic and special needs children become more confident in their actions and help them learn how to use their bodies in such an amazing sport. This program is called Special Olympics. I am also involved in Girl Scouts were my troop and I have gone on many adventures and also taken part in many community service activities including cooking meals for a women’s shelter and planning activities for their young children. I have also planned the following drives for a local shelter: food, art supplies, toiletry, books, and clothes drives.
