Meagan Moredock was born on January 6, 2003 in Georgia. She lives in McDonough, GA with her mom, Kelli, stepdad, Kenneth, a dog (Logan), a cat (Elsa) and two horses (Tango and Twilight). Meagan's older sister, Mallory is a gymnast at Texas Women's University. Currently, Meagan is an honor student at Union Grove High School and she will graduate from high school in 2021. She maintains a 4.0 GPA and is a member of Beta Club.

Meagan began going to the gym from the time she was born. She went with her mom every day to practice and spent a lot of her time watching her older sister, Mallory practicing and competing. Meagan decided to start taking classes when she turned two years old and began competing level 4 when she was seven years old. Meagan has been training at Georgia Gymnastics Academy in Lawrenceville, GA her whole gymnastics career.

In 2011 as a level 5 gymnast, she earned a silver medal on balance beam at the State Championships. She skipped level 6 and moved up to level 7 for the 2013 season. She finished in the top ten in the all-around and second on floor exercise at the State Championships. As a level 8 gymnast in 2014, Meagan placed eighth in the all-around with a 37.400 and fourth on vault and floor exercise at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, finishing eighth in the all-around. Meagan continued competing level 8 in 2015 where she placed second in the all-around with a 37.525, first on floor exercise and second on vault at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, Meagan finished tenth in the all-around with a 37.775, second on floor exercise and fourth on uneven bars.

As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2016, Meagan earned gold medals on floor exercise and in the all-around at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she placed in the top ten in the all-around and third on uneven bars. She was the alternate for the Level 9 Eastern Nationals. In 2017, Meagan placed second in the all-around with a 37.100 and second on uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise. At the State Championships. She finished fourth in the all-around and second on floor exercise at the Region 8 Championships. She qualified ot the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Lansing, MI where she placed 14th in the all-around and eighth on floor exercise.

In January 2019, Meagan moved to Georgia Elite Gymnastics in Watkinsville, GA. She was unable to compete most of the season due to an injury.

Meagan currently trains about 19 hours per week at Georgia Elite Gymnastics in Watkinsville, GA under coaches Kim & Pete Arenas, John Young, Myia Hambrick and Ashley Sellers. Meagan is working hard to become a successful level 10 gymnast, qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals as well as to compete for a college gymnastics team.
