As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2016, Meilin finished second in the all-around, first on uneven bars and balance beam and second on floor exercise at the State Championships. She had a great meet at the Region 3 Championships where she placed 11th in the all-around with a 37.150, sixth on balance beam and seventh on floor exercise.
