Welcome to Melissa Metcalf Online! Melissa is a 12-year-old aspiring junior international elite gymnast who trains at Desert Devils in Arizona under Geoff Eaton. Melissa qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in 2006, where she finished 17th in the all-around. In 2007, she made the Junior Olympic National Team after placing 4th in the all-around and 2nd on uneven bars. Melissa qualified to junior international elite last February at the National Training Camp. In April, Melissa became the 2008 Level 10 State Champion in all-around, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.

A few months after Melissa qualified to junior international elite, she qualified to her first VISA Championships after placing 8th in the all-around at the May Elite Qualifier. She then finished 20th in the all-around and tied for 8th on uneven bars at VISA Championships in Boston, MA.
