Mia Dinoto was born on January 7, 2003 in Maryland to Chris and Jill Dinoto. She has two brothers, Jake and Nick and six dogs named Bubba, Snoop, Ocho, Ozzie, Vinny and Jax! When Mia has time outside gymnastics, she enjoys playing with her dogs, making YouTube videos, dancing and swimming. Mia currently has over 350 thousand subscribers on her YouTube page!

Mia started taking recreational classes for fun at a local gym when she was two years old. She started competing level 4 in 2011 at the age of eight. At the 2012 State Championships, she placed fifth on balance beam. She moved up to level 5 in 2013 where she placed third in the all-around with a 37.375 and second on uneven bars and floor exercise. At the 2014 Level 5 State Championships, Mia finished second in the all-around with a 37.275, first on balance beam, second on floor exercise and third on uneven bars. Mia was named the Most Outstanding Level 5 Gymnast, Coaches Award at Hill's Gymnastics. She also was in America's Top 100 Level 5 on floor exercise with a 9.750.

In 2015, Mia skipped level 6 and moved up to level 7. At the State Championships, she earned a silver medal on balance beam. As a level 8 gymnast in 2016, Mia finished third in the all-around and third on uneven bars and balance beam. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships, finishing 11th in the all-around and second on uneven bars. Mia was named Optional Gymnast of the Year by First Class Gymnastics. She also earned Best Attitude Award, the University of Maryland coaches presented at the University of Maryland Winter Camp. Mia moved up to level 9 for the 2017 season where she finished third in the all-around and second on floor exercise at the State Championships. She made the Level 9 Maryland State Team. At the Region 7 Championships, she placed eighth in the all-around with a 37.525 and fourth on floor exercise. Mia was the first alternate for the Level 9 Eastern Nationals.

Mia trains 22 hours per week at First Class Gymnastics in Annapolis, MD under coaches Jianwei Dai and Shoney Taglisferi. Mia is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals in 2018. Her long-term goal is to compete for a college gymnastics team
