May 16, 2011 \\ Mikayla Wins Silver on Vault in Long Beach
Mikayla was in Long Beach, California this weekend for the Junior Olympic-National Invitational Tournament. She concluded her level 10 season last night where she placed fifth in the all-around with a 36.800. She won a silver medal on vault with a 9.450 and placed fifth on floor exercise scoring a 9.425. Good job Mikayla! Full results have been posted from the meet.
April 16, 2011 \\ Level 10 Regionals
Yesterday at the Region III Championships, Mikayla finished 11th in the all-around with a 37.400. She placed fourth on vault with a 9.600 and sixth on uneven bars scoring a 9.525. She qualified to JO-National Invitational Tournament, to be held May 14-15 in Long Beach, California. Good job Mikayla! Full results have been posted from the meet.
March 27, 2011 \\ Texas State Championships
Today at the Level 10 Texas State Championships, Mikayla placed eighth in the all-around as well as fourth on balance beam with a 9.450 and fifth on vault scoring a 9.425. Good job Mikayla! Click here to watch Mikayla's beam from the meet.

March 7, 2011 \\ Houston National Invitational
Mikayla had a great meet this past weekend at the Houston National Invitational. She finished eighth in the all-around with a 37.250 as well as second on both vault and balance beam scoring a 9.575 and 9.525 respectively. Well done Mikayla!
February 21, 2011 \\ WOGA Elite Qualifier
This past weekend, Mikayla traveled to Dallas, Texas for the WOGA National Elite Qualifier. Last Friday night, Mikayla passed the compulsories by finishing 3rd in the all-around with a 35.175. On the next day with optionals, she finished fourth in the all-around with a 50.500. She also placed third on vault, uneven bars and balance beam. Mikayla qualified to junior pre-elite. Good job Mikayla!

July 26, 2010 \\ US Challenge Champion
Mikayla had a fantastic weekend at the US Challenge in Chicago, IL! On Friday, she competed in the compulsory meet, where she scored a total AA of 36.350. Yesterday, Mikayla posted the highest optional AA score in the Hopes 10-11 group. She won gold medals on uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around. Congratulations Mikayla on a great meet! You can watch the all-around awards video below.
July 19, 2010 \\ US Covergirl Challenge
Mikayla will be competing at the US Covergirl Challenge this weekend in Chicago, Illinois. The compulsory meet will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon. Optionals will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday at the UIC Pavilion. This will be her final competition of 2010. Good luck Mikayla!
July 3, 2010 \\ Gym Changes & Texas Elite Qualifier
Mikayla recently moved to Stars Gymnastics in Katy, Texas. She is now training under coaches Debbie Kaitschuck, Dan Baker and Ashley Baker.
Mikayla competed today at the Texas Elite National Qualifier in Huntsville, Texas. She won the all-around title with a 51.55 in the hopes division. Full results and four videos have been posted from the meet. Good job Mikayla!
