Molly Ann McNamara was born on March 8, 1999 to Mark and Kim McNamara. Currently, Molly is a senior at K-12 Homeschool and she will graduate from high school in the spring of 2017. During her spare time, she loves to attend concerts of her favorite bands.

Molly started her competitive gymnastics career at Pearland Elite Training Center and has been there ever since. As a level 5 gymnast in 2008, she placed in the top 15 at the District Championships and in the top 20 at the South State Championships. Molly moved up to level 6 in the fall of 2009. She finished in the top ten at the District Championships and top 15 at the South State Championships. In 2010, Molly placed third on vault and seventh in the all-around at the District Championships. She immediately competed level 7 for the 2011 season. She finished second on vault at the Lady Luck Invitational and third on vault at the Space City Classic. She finished 11th in the all-around at the State Championships.

In 2012, Molly moved up to level 8. She finished second on vault at the Winter Cup Challenge. She placed first on vault and floor exercise at the Gumbo Cup. At the Space City Classic, she finished first on vault and in the all-around. She placed third in the all-around at the Rose City Classic. She concluded her season at the State Championships.

As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2013, Molly finished first on vault at the Houston National Invitational. She placed second on vault at the City of Lights Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished in the top 20. In 2014, Molly continued competing level 9. She placed second on vault at the Lady Luck Invitational. At the Houston National Invitational, she earned gold medals on vault and balance beam. She placed first on vault, balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around at the WOGA Classic. At the Purple & Gold Meet, Molly grabbed gold medals on vault, uneven bars and in the all-around. She placed second on vault and sixth in the all-around at the State Championships. Molly had a great meet at the Region 3 Championships, finishing fourth in the all-around with a 37.200 and second on vault. This qualified Molly to the Level 9 Western Nationals where she placed seventh on vault.

In 2015, Molly started her level 10 season at the Alamo Classic, finishing first on vault, balance beam and in the all-around. At the Chow's Challenge, she finished fourth on floor exercise and seventh overall. She placed sixth in the all-around and fifth on vault and balance beam at the Buckeye Classic. Molly placed fifth on floor exercise with a 9.525 at the WOGA Classic. She did really well at the Flip Across Texas Invitational, finishing first in the all-around with a 36.400 and second on uneven bars and floor exercise. At the State Championships, she placed fourth on balance beam and seventh on vault. She concluded her season at the Region 3 Championships.

Molly finished sixth in the all-around and fourth on vault and floor exercise at the 2016 Region 3 Championships. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Ft. Worth. TX.

Currently, Molly is preparing for the 2017 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 32 hours per week at Pearland Elite Training Center under coaches Tasha Beale and Nick Cedillo. Molly would like to qualify to the JO Nationals and to compete for a college gymnastics team.
