Today at the American Classic in Huntsville, Texas, Nica finished third in the all-around with a 54.800 in the junior session. She earned gold medals on uneven bars and balance beam scoring a 14.300 and 14.500 respectively. Nica qualified to the VISA Championships in St. Louis, Missouri next month. Congratulations Nica!

Nica had a great meet today at the Texas National Elite Qualifier in Huntsville, Texas. She finished first in the all-around with a 54.450 in the junior session. She also finished first on uneven bars with a 14.350, third on vault scoring a 13.650 and fourth on floor exercise with a 13.250. Nica qualified to the American Classic tomorrow and US Secret Classic at the end of this month in Chicago, IL. Congratulations Nica!

Nica competed today at the Texas Prime Meet in Irving, Texas, finishing fifth in the all-around in the junior session. She placed fourth on both uneven bars and floor exercise scoring a 9.400 and 9.350 respectively. Well done Nica!

Nica competed this past weekend at the WOGA National Elite Qualifier. She finished third in the all-around, first on balance beam with a 14.950 and second on floor exercise scoring a 12.850. She competed in the international session on that night for uneven bars only where she finished third with a 14.000. Good job Nica! Photos and videos will be coming soon.

Nica concluded her 2011 season today at the VISA Championships in St. Paul, MN. She improved her balance beam score from 13.900 to 14.100 and finished fifth on this event. Congratulations Nica!

Nica competed today at the first day of the VISA Championships and only did two events, bars and beam due to an ankle injury. Currently, Nica is 15th on uneven bars with a 13.250 and eighth on balance beam scoring a 13.900. Good job Nica! The second day of the VISA Championships is on Saturday at 1:00 PM CST. Nica's first VISA Championships is starting this week in St. Paul, Minnesota! Nica will be competing on the first day of competition on Thursday, August 18 at 1:00 PM CST. She will be third person to go on uneven bars during the first rotation. The second day will be on Saturday, August 20. Today at the US Covergirl Classic, Nica finished 13th in the all-around with a 52.900. She won the balance beam title with a 15.050. This qualified her for the VISA Championships next month in St. Paul, Minnesota! Congratulations Nica!

Nica will be traveling to Chicago, Illinois for the US Covergirl Classic next weekend on July 23rd which will be held at the UIC Pavilion. The junior elite division will start at 11:30 a.m and she will start the meet on uneven bars. Nica will need a 52.5 to qualify for the VISA Championships in St. Paul, Minnesota next month.
