Nicole Pujals was born on November 2, 2005 in Miami, Fl to Jessica and Denis Pujals. She has two brothers, Matthew and Christian and two toy Australian Shepherds named Zack and Kody. Nicole is in the gifted program at John A. Ferguson High School. When Nicole has time outside of gymnastics and school, she enjoys art and playing piano.

Nicole was in cheerleading when she was six years old and she wanted to learn how to tumble. Her mom put her at Tumblebees Gymnastics in Miami, FL so she can learn how to tumble and they ended up putting her on pre-team when the summer was over. Nicole has been in gymnastics ever since. She was the 2013 Level 2 FL State Balance Beam Champion, 2014 Level 3 FL State Uneven Bars and Floor Exercise Champion and 2016 Level 5 FL State Balance Beam Champion.

In 2017, Nicole skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7. She placed fifth in the all-around with a 37.675, third on balance beam and fourth on floor exercise at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships where she finished fourth in the all-around with a 37.650, first on uneven bars and second on floor exercise. Nicole competed level 8 for the 2019 season. She placed fifth in the all-around and first on uneven bars with a 9.9 at the State Championships. She had a great meet at the Region 8 Championships where she finished third in the all-around with a 37.500, first on uneven bars with a 9.700 and first on floor exercise. Nicole was named to America's Top 100 on uneven bars (2x).

Nicole moved up to level 9 for the 2020 season. She qualified to the State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. Nicole was limited in 2021 and 2022 due to a compression fracture in her back. She started training again in August 2022. A few months later, Nicole decided to move to American Twisters Gymnastics in Pompano Beach, FL. Nicole was limited to uneven bars only in 2023 where she scored a 9.550 at the Tim Rand Invitational and 9.075 at the Level 10 State Championships!
