Gymnastics came very easy for Olivia. When she was in recreational gymnastics at a local gym, a coach told her mom that she needed to take Olivia to Gold Medal Gymnastics-Huntington (GMGC). Olivia joined pre-team at Gold Medal Gymnastics and trained there until the summer of 2017. Shortly after the 2017 Junior Olympic Nationals, Olivia moved to New Image Gymnastics in Brentwood, NY.

As a level 7 gymnast in 2012, Olivia finished second in the all-around with a 37.950, first on floor exercise and second on uneven bars and balance beam. She skipped level 8 and quickly moved up to level 9 for the 2013 season. At the State Championships, she placed seventh in the all-around, second on uneven bars and third on floor exercise. Olivia qualified to the Region 6 Championships where she finished third in the all-around and fourth on vault, uneven bars and balance beam. Olivia continued competing level 9 in 2014. Olivia moved up to level 10 for the 2015 season. She placed ninth in the all-around and second on vault at the Region 6 Championships. She was the second alternate for the Junior Olympic Nationals. She was injured most of the 2016 season but she had a great meet at the Heartland Classic where she placed second on uneven bars with a 9.700.
