Peyton Oltman was born on October 22, 2003 in Overland Park, KS to Greg and Susan Oltman. She currently lives in Grapevine, TX with her parents, two brothers, Quin and Brady and two dogs named Daisy and Earl. Peyton is a student at iUniversity online school through GCISD and she will graduate in 2022. During Peyton's spare time, she enjoys playing soccer, baking and reading.

Peyton would flip all over the house, so her mom wanted her to have a safe place to learn the right away so she would not get hurt. Six-year-old Peyton started taking gymnastics at Sunbelt Gymnastics Academy in Colleyville, TX and fell in love with the sport. Following her level 4 season in 2012, she moved to Texas Dreams Gymnastics in Coppell, TX and has been there since.

In 2012, Peyton scored perfect 10.0s on vault and uneven bars in level 4. She was also named to America's Top 100 on vault (2x), uneven bars, floor exercise and all-around (2x). As a level 5 gymnast in 2013, Peyton placed fourth in the all-around with a 37.450 and second on uneven bars. She was named to America's Top 100 on vault. She skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2014 season. At the State Championships, she placed third in the all-around with a 38.525 and fifth on vault and uneven bars. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships, finishing fourth in the all-around with a 37.925 and fourth on balance beam. Peyton was named to America's Top 100 in the all-around.

Peyton moved up to level 8 in 2015. She placed seventh in the all-around with a 38.100, third on floor exercise and fourth on vault at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she finished third in the all-around with a 38.375 and fourth on balance beam. Peyton was named to America's Top 100 on balance beam (2x), floor exercise (3x) and all-around (4x).

In 2016, Peyton had a level 9 great season where she was crowned State, Regional and National champion! At the Level 9 State Championships, she earned gold medals on balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around with a 38.475. Peyton then placed first in the all-around with a 38.550 and second on uneven bars and balance beam at the Region 3 Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals, finishing first in the all-around with a 38.100, first on vault and floor exercise and second on uneven bars and balance beam. Peyton was named to America's Top 100 on uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise (2x) and all-around (4x).

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2017, Peyton placed seventh in the all-around with a 37.100 and fifth on uneven bars at the State Championships. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals on her first attempt after finishing eighth in the all-around at the Region 3 Championships. Peyton was unable to compete most of the 2018 season due to an injury.

Peyton trains 28 hours per week at Texas Dreams Gymnastics in Coppell, TX under coaches Marcus Harlin, Alicia Browning and Ned Lang. She would like to become an elite gymnast and to win Nationals. Her long-term goal is to obtain a college gymnastics scholarship.
