Reagan Dathe was born on February 24, 2003 in Texas to Chris and Cecilia Dathe. She has a sister, Jade and two dogs named Mocha and Shep. Currently, Reagan is an honor student at Cedar Ridge High School and she will graduate from high school in 2021. When Reagan has time outside of gymnastics, she enjoys baking, swimming and hanging out with her friends.

Reagan's parents enrolled her into Little Gym for fun when she was two years old. She fell in love with the sport and joined pre-team at a local gym. Reagan moved to Capital Gymnastics in Cedar Park, TX after her level 6 season in 2012. She moved up to level 7 for the 2014 season where she placed 13th in the all-around with a 37.775 and second on vault scoring a 9.725 at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships, Reagan finished ninth in the all-around with a 37.375 and sixth on balance beam.

As a level 8 gymnast in 2015, Reagan qualified to the Region 3 Championships where she finished in the top 15 in the all-around with a 37.500, second on uneven bars with a 9.750 and fifth on balance beam scoring a 9.525. In the summer of 2015, Reagan moved to Crenshaw Athletic Club in Austin, TX. Reagan missed most of the 2016 due to an injury but came back in time for the Level 9 State Championships where she placed ninth in the all-around and sixth on balance beam, qualifying to Regionals. Reagan continued competing level 9 in 2017. At the State Championships, she finished second in the all-around with a 37.100, first on balance beam, fourth on floor exercise and fifth on uneven bars. Reagan qualified to the Region 3 Championships, finishing in the top ten in the all-around and third on uneven bars with a 9.425.

Reagan trains 18 hours per week at Crenshaw Athletic Club in Austin, TX under coaches Adam Miller, Helen Miller and Sharon Bunch. Reagan is working hard to have a successful level 10 season in 2019. Her long-term goal is to compete for a college gymnastics team.
