Rebecca took her first gymnastics lessons at age of three at Great American Gymnastics Express (GAGE). She trained at GAGE her whole gymnastics career until college where she trained under club coaches Al Fong and Armine Barutyan-Fong.

As a level 9 gymnast in 2004, Rebecca placed first on floor exercise at the Gymnastics in Paradise in Hawaii. At the Level 9 Regional Championships, she finished third in the all-around, first on uneven bars and balance beam and second on floor exercise. There, she qualified to the Level 9 Western National Championships, where she finished 11th overall.

Rebecca moved up to level ten in 2005, where she won the Dragon Invitational as her first meet of the year. At the Stars & Stripes Invitational, she finished fifth in the all-around, second on floor exercise and third on uneven bars. Rebecca finished third in the all-around as well as first on uneven bars and balance beam at the Level 10 Regional Championships. Her final meet as a level 10 gymnast was the JO National Championships, where Rebecca tied for tenth in the all-around, fifth on floor exercise and seventh on balance beam. In 2006, Rebecca qualified to junior international elite and competed at the 2006 US Classic in Kansas City, Missouri where she placed 19th in the all-around.

Rebecca started her 2007 season at the Dragon Invitational and only competed on uneven bars and placed sixth. At the WOGA Classic, she finished sixth overall and second on balance beam. At the end of May, Rebecca and her club teammates traveled to National Training Center in Houston, Texas for the American Classic. She did extremely well at the meet by placing fifth in the all-around and qualified to her first Junior US National Championships in San Jose, California. Later in the summer, Rebecca competed at the VISA Championships where she placed 11th in the all-around. She also placed impressive fifth on balance beam and fourth on floor exercise. Rebecca, along with top 12 juniors, made the Junior US National Team.

As a third year junior international elite gymnast in 2008, Rebecca started her season at the Dragon Invitational, where she placed fourth in the all-around, third on vault and second on floor exercise. Rebecca then received two different international assignments. The first assignment was in beginning of March at the Grand Prix in Jesolo, Italy. She placed fourth in the all-around and earned a team gold medal. Two weeks later, Rebecca went to San Jose, California for the Pacific Rim Championships. She and the USA team grabbed the team gold medal ahead of Canada and China. Rebecca finished ninth in the all-around in the junior division. In the beginning of June, Rebecca and her teammate, Ivana Hong, traveled to Boston, MA for the VISA Championships. Rebecca had a bad start on her first day of competition, where she fell on uneven bars. She, however, finished the VISA Championships strong and finished sixth in the all-around, fourth on balance beam and floor exercise! There, she made her second Junior US National Team.

In 2009, Rebecca moved up to senior international elite. At the US Covergirl Classic in Des Moines, Iowa, she only competed on three events, where she placed third on uneven bars and seven on balance beam. At the VISA Championships, she placed 11th overall as well as sixth on balance beam. In November of 2009, Rebecca verbally committed to the University of Oklahoma.

Currently, Rebecca is preparing for the upcoming 2012 season at the University of Oklahoma. She is training under coaches K.J. Kindler, Lou Ball and Tom Haley.

Rebecca Sue Clark was born on January 4, 1993 to Gary and Karen in Independence, Missouri. She has an older brother, Jonathan where he is a senior at UCM. Rebecca graduated from Blue Springs South High School in 2011 and currently is a freshman at the University of Oklahoma.
