Reese first took gymnastics in 2010, at the age of four, at the Little Gym. Her parents wanted to find an outlet for Reese to expend her energy. She started her competitive gymnastics career at Rochester Gymnastics Academy and has been there ever since. She was the 2013 Level 4 State Vault Champion, 2014 Level 4 State AA, Vault & Uneven Bars Champion and 2015 Level 5 State Vault & Bars Champion.

Reese skipped level 6, tested out of level 7 and quickly moved up to level 8 for the 2017 season. She grabbed gold medals on vault, balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around with a 38.675 at the State Championships. She qualified to the Level 6 Championships where she placed first in the all-around with a 38.550 and first on vault and floor exercise. As a level 9 gymnast in 2018, Reese placed third in the all-around and second on vault and floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 6 Championships, she finished fourth on vault.

Reese trains 24 hours per week at Rochester Gymnastics Academy in Rochester, NY under coaches Youlia & Barry Coss and Azalia Rodriquez. She would like to become a Junior Olympic National Champion. Her long-term goal is to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
