Rena Laniado is a hardworking, self-motivated training level 10 gymnast, conscientious honors student, dedicated teammate and loyal friend. In addition to training hard on her own skills and routines, Rena made and keeps a list of everyone in the gyms vault settings, and is in charge of making sure everyone knows the others setting at meets. Rena is also known for carrying a backpack well-stocked with supplies and is always ready to help a teammate in need of taping. In her “free” time, she helps out at the gym and coaches the level 2s.
Her favorite events are vault, balance beam and floor exercise but she is working hard to strengthen her uneven bars skills as well. Recent highlights of her career were placing first on Vault at Level 8 State Championships, second on balance beam at Level 9 State Championships and qualifying to Level 9 Regionals. She is very excited about her level 9 routines and the upgrades she is working on and is only getting stronger and stronger as a gymnast each year. She is passionate about gymnastics and is hoping to be able to continue to grow and compete as part of a college team.
