Riley started taking gymnastics in Mommy and Me classes when she was two years old. She eventually joined pre-team at Ace Gymnastics Inc. in Ipswich, MA and has been there ever since. As a level 6 gymnast in 2010, Riley finished fourth on floor exercise with a 9.525 at the State Championships. She moved up to level 7 in 2011 where she qualified to the State Championships.
As a level 8 gymnast in 2012, Riley placed seventh on vault at the State Championships and qualified to the Region 6 Championships. At Regionals, she placed fifth in the all-around, second on vault and third on floor exercise. Riley competed level 9 in 2013, 2014 and 2015. At the 2015 State Championships, she placed fifth in the all-around and second on uneven bars. She qualified to the Region 6 Championships, finishing fourth in the all-around, second on vault and
Riley moved up to level 10 for the 2015-2016 season. She placed in the top three at the first two meets and easily qualified to the State Championships. However, she was unable to compete most of the season due an injury. She came back strong in 2017 where she placed fourth in the all-around with a 36.700 and second on balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 6 Championships, Riley finished seventh in the all-around and third on floor exercise. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Indianapolis, IN.
Currently, Riley is preparing for the 2018 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 20 hours per week at Ace Gymnastics Inc. in Ipswich, MA under coaches Amy Patch and Christine Potamis. Riley would like to compete for a college gymnastics team.
