Riley started taking gymnastics classes for fun when she was two years old at a local gym. She began her competitive gymnastics career at Champions Gymnastics in Richmond, TX at age seven and has been there ever since. She qualified to the 2010 Level 5 State Championships and 2011 Level 6 State Championships. As a level 7 gymnast in 2013, Riley finished sixth in the all-around with a 38.075 and third on uneven bars scoring a 9.700.
In 2014, Riley moved up to level 8 where she finished 11th on floor exercise with a 9.450 at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she placed 16th on floor exercise scoring a 9.450. As a level 9 gymnast in 2015, Riley finished 13th in the all-around and ninth on vault and floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she finished in the top 15 in the all-around and eighth on vault and floor exercise. As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2016, Riley finished fourth on vault with a 9.475 at the State Championships, qualifying to the Region 3 Championships.
Riley finished fourth on vault with a 9.500 and sixth on floor exercise scoring a 9.250 at the 2017 Level 10 State Championships. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships where she placed sixth on uneven bars.
Currently, Riley is preparing for the 2018 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 28 hours per week at Champions Gymnastics in Richmond, TX under coaches Tyler Mizoguchi, Neptali Narvaez and Brittainy Johnson. Riley is working hard to become a successful level 10 gymnast as well as to compete for a college gymnastics team.
