Sally Penswick was born on October 31, 2006 in Massachusetts to Rob and Sue Penswick. She has an older brother, Robbie. Sally will graduate from high school in 2025. When Sally has time outside of gymnastics, she enjoys reading, baking and arts & crafts.

Sally started gymnastics in a Mom and Tot class when she was two years old at Tumble Time. She started competing level 4 in 2014. Following the level 5 season, she moved to Cape Cod Gymnastics in Yarmouth Port, MA. Sally skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2017 season. She finished in the top ten in the all-around and fifth on floor exercise at the State Championships. As a level 8 gymnast in 2018, Sally placed eighth in the all-around and sixth on uneven bars at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 6 Championships where she placed in the top ten in the all-around and fifth on balance beam.

Sally trains 18 hours per week at Cape Cod Gymnastics in Yarmouth Port, MA under coaches Jason and Jen Watkins. Sally is working hard to qualify to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in 2019. Her long-term goal is to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
