Sarah Adlassnig was born on March 25, 2001 in Edison, NJ to Carl and Michele Adlassnig. She has a younger sister, Kaitlyn who is also a gymnast at Head Over Heels Gymnastics. Sarah is an honor student at Bishop George Ahr High School and she will graduate in 2019. She has 11 years experience in Girls Scout where she has earned silver award.

Sarah took tumbling classes for cheerleading, but she thought gymnastics looked more fun, so she switched sports when she was seven years old. She has been training at Head Over Heels Gymnastics in Parlin, NJ since 2013. Sarah competed as a level 7 gymnast in 2014 where she finished in the top 11 in the all-around with a 36.600.

In 2015 as a first-year level 8 gymnast, Sarah placed sixth on floor exercise with a 9.350 at the State Championships. She continued competing level 8 for the 2016 season where she earned a bronze medal on balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships, finishing in the top 11 in the all-around with a 36.925.

Currently, Sarah is preparing for the 2017 season as a level 9 gymnast. She trains 22-25 hours per week at Head Over Heels Gymnastics in Parlin, NJ under coaches Toni Borden, Sonny Smoljan and Zulieta Smoljan. Sarah is working hard to qualify to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals, to become a successful level 10 gymnast and to obtain a college scholarship.
