Sarah began gymnastics when she was two years old. She was ready to have a fun activity and gymnastics was one of the only sports that would take someone so young. She was asked to join the gym’s developmental team when she turned four years old and competed her first level 2 meet when she turned five. When Sarah was nine years old, she moved with her family to Bergen, Norway. She competed with her local gym in Bergen, Norway and was a Norwegian Youth National Team member. She returned to the US before her 2017 season.
As a level 8 gymnast in 2018, Sarah placed second on vault, third on uneven bars and sixth in the all-around with a 37.600 at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships where she finished fifth on vault and sixth on floor exercise. She moved up to level 9 for the 2019 season. Sarah earned a silver medal on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals in Spokane, WA after finishing eighth in the all-around and second on vault at the Region 3 Championships.
Sarah qualified to the 2020 Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Sarah placed sixth in the all-around and fifth on uneven bars at the Level 10 State Championships. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships where she finished ninth on uneven bars with a 9.350. In 2022, Sarah finished fourth in the all-around and third on uneven bars at the Level 10 State Championships, qualifying to Regionals.
