Sasha Ashley Kuehn was born on December 30, 2001 in San Diego, CA to Scott and Yoko Kuehn. She has a younger brother, Colin and a dog named Rascal. Sasha is an honor student at Dublin Coffman High School and she will graduate in 2020. Sasha is an avid fiction reader. She loves to follow the careers of many different female athletes. She has a strong interest in the medical field and enjoys keeping up on the latest happenings with Grey's Anatomy. Sasha also loves working out and running track in her spare time, and enjoys finding new healthy food and places to eat. Lastly, she tries to enhance her Japanese skills when she can by reading Japanese novels as well.

Sasha followed her friends into gymnastics when she was in third grade. She fell in love with the sport and quickly progressed at Midwest Gymnastics and Cheerleading in Dublin, OH. She started competing level 3 at the age of nine. At the 2011 Level 4 State Championships, she swept the gold medals scoring a 37.475 in the all-around. Sasha tested out of level 5, skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2013 season. At the 2013 Level 7 State Championships, she finished third in the all-around, second on vault and fourth on floor exercise.

In 2014 as a level 8 gymnast, Sasha finished in the top ten in the all-around and first on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships. She continued competing level 8 in 2015 where she finished first in the all-around with a 37.925 at the State Championships. She also earned gold medals on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise and a bronze medal on balance beam. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships.

Sasha moved up to level 9 for the 2016 season. She won the vault title with a 9.500 at the Region 5 Championships. In the summer of 2016, Sasha left her long-time gym to train at Universal Gymnasts, Inc. in Hilliard, OH. Sasha moved up to level 10 for the 2017 season. She finished fourth in the all-around with a 37.100 and second on vault scoring a 9.600 at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships, finishing seventh on vault with a 9.425.

Currently, Sasha is preparing for the 2018 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 20 hours per week at Universal Gymnasts, Inc. in Hilliard, OH under coaches Dave Anthony, Natalia Laschenova and Bill Widman. Sasha is working hard to become a successful level 10 gymnast, qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals the next few years and to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
