Sierra followed her older sister into gymnastics when she was four years old. She started her competitive gymnastics career at Rebound Gymnastics where she trained under coaches Jackie Frasier and Heather Matera.

As a level 7 gymnast in 2012, Sierra finished sixth in the all-around with a 37.300 and fourth on vault and floor exercise at the State Championships. She moved up to level 8 for the 2013 season. She placed seventh in the all-around with a 36.400, first on floor exercise and third on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships where she earned a silver medal on floor exercise with a 9.525.

In 2014, Sierra moved up to level 9. She placed seventh on vault with a 9.200 at the State Championships and seventh on floor exercise scoring a 9.125 at the Region 7 Championships. Sierra continued competing level 9 in 2015 where she finished fourth on vault with a 9.325 at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, she placed ninth in the all-around, sixth on vault and seventh on floor exercise. Sierra was named to 2015 1st Place All-Shore Gymnastics Team. In the summer of 2016, Sierra moved to Premier Gymnastics in Morganville, NJ.

Currently, Sierra is preparing for the 2017 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 30 hours per week at Premier Gymnastics in Morganville, NJ under coaches Jen Fobes and Austyn Fobes. Sierra is working hard to become a successful level 10 gymnast and to compete for a college gymnastics team.
