Welcome to the Official Website of Sierra Hassel! Sierra is a level 10 gymnast from Chow's Gymnastics in West Des Moines, Iowa training under coaches Liang Chow and Li Chow.
As a level 9 gymnast in 2010, Sierra placed first in the all-around at the Region 4 Championships and qualified to the Western Nationals. At the Westerns, she finished impressive second in the all-around as well as second on balance beam and floor exercise. She moved up to level 10 for the 2011 season. She placed second in the all-around and first on floor exercise at the Region 4 Championships. This qualified Sierra to the Junior Olympic Nationals where she placed fifth on floor exercise in the Junior A session.
In 2012, Sierra had a great season where she placed third in the all-around as well as second on vault and balance beam at the State Championships. At the Level 10 Regionals, she finished ninth in the all-around and third on balance beam and floor exercise. She did really well at the Junior Olympic NIT, finishing first on uneven bars, floor exercise and in the all-around with a 37.275.
Sierra would like to continue to pursue her passion for gymnastics in college, so this website was created for college coaches to learn more about Sierra and stay informed of her progress. We hope you continue to support Sierra in the future.
