Simone began gymnastics as a toddler and quickly progressed in the sport. Her competitive gymnastics career started at Capital Gymnastics. In 2006, Simone won the All Around Level 7 Virginia State Championship and first on vault as well as Level 8 All Around, first place on floor and bars in 2007. Simone qualified to Region 7 Regionals, where she finished fourth in the all-around. As a Level 9 in 2008 she placed third in the all-around as well as first on floor at the Virginia State Championships. Simone then finished fourth on uneven bars at Regionals and qualified to Level 9 Eastern National Championships. In 2009, Simone earned three silver medals on uneven bars, floor exercise and with the team at the 18th Maccabiah Games. In 2011, Simone finished fifth on floor at the Junior Olympic-NIT. She was the first alternate for Region 7 National Team. Currently, Simone is competing as a level 10.
