Simone has been selected as a member of the All Metropolitan "First Team" in Gymnastics for Fairfax County A top honor awarded by the Washington Post. This is a 70 year tradition that honors the best high school athletes. Being named an All Met First Team member by the Washington Post is the most prestigious award a high school athlete in the Washington area can receive.

Simone competed for the WT Woodson Varsity Gymnastics team this past winter, where she holds the record for the highest event score in the history of Woodson and also the highest AA score for Woodson. Simone won the Patriot District AA title and finished 3rd at the High School State Championships. New pictures have been posted from Simone's high school season.

Simone concluded her level 10 season last night at the Region VII Championships. She finished eighth on floor exercise scoring a 9.100. Good job Simone!

Simone did well this past weekend at the Level 10 Virginia State Championships. She finished fourth in the all-around as well as second on floor exercise with a 9.500. There, she qualified to the Level 10 Regional Championships in Chesapeake, VA on April 9-11. Good job Simone!
