Welcome to Sydney Waltz's Official Website! Sydney is a level 10 gymnast from Gold Medal Gymnastics in Findlay, Ohio under coaches Robin Ewing Bodem, Krystle Cook and Jackie McCarter.

In 2009 as a level 9 gymnast, Sydney placed third on vault and in the all-around at the Ohio State Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals after placing second in the all-around and first on vault. At the Nationals, she finished sixth in the all-around, first on vault, eighth on balance beam and ninth on floor exercise. In 2011, Sydney finished third on vault and fourth on floor exercise at the Level 10 State Championships. At the Level 10 Regionals, she placed eighth in the all-around, first on vault and third on floor exercise. This qualified Sydney to the Junior Olympic Nationals in California. In 2012, Sydney finished second in the all-around as well as first on vault and uneven bars at the State Championships, qualifying to the Regionals. In 2013, Sydney placed second on vault, uneven bars and in the all-around at the Level 10 Regionals. At the Junior Olympic Nationals in Minneapolis, MN, she finished eighth in the all-around, second on vault and balance beam and fifth on floor exercise.

Currently, Sydney is preparing for the upcoming 2014 season as a level 10 gymnast. Sydney verbally committed to the University of Kentucky for the 2014-2015 school year. We hope you continue to support Sydney in the future.
