Taylor has been training at Gold Medal Gymnastics her whole life. Gold Medal Gymnastics is located in Republic, Missouri, which is located in the southeast part of the state. Taylor has been with coaches Cash and Sara McGowan, ever since she started her gymnastics career. Both Cash and Sara coach the "Gold Medal Gems," a competitive gymnastics team. Even though Gold Medal Gymnastics is not well known in the gymnastics world, they have been growing over the last few years. They have had many state and regional champions.

Taylor spends 24 hours a week at Gold Medal Gymnastics, where her gym is like a second family and home. She usually trains with Melissa Maynard, Holly Burks, Mackenzie Ryan, Haven Lander, Briana Warner, Marissa Alverez, Maleah Hall, Aubrey Neilson, Avery Kessler and Abby Houchin.
