Welcome to Taylor Laymon's Official Website! Taylor is a level 10 gymnast from High Point Gymnastics in High Point, NC training under coaches Robert Travers, Buddy Thorburn, Jenna Squires and Beth Martin. She will graduate from high school in the spring of 2014.
Prior to Everest Gymnastics, Taylor was the 2009 Level 8 Beam State Champion and 2009 Level 8 Regional Floor Champion. In 2010, she placed fourth in the all-around at the Level 9 State Championships. At the Level 9 Regionals, she placed first in the all-around, first on uneven bars and second on balance beam. This qualified her to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals where she won the uneven bars title. Taylor moved up to level 10 for the 2011 season. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals after finishing second on balance beam and in the all-around at the Level 10 Regionals. In 2012, Taylor finished second in the all-around and first on uneven bars at the Junior Olympic NIT.
Taylor verbally committed to the University of Pittsburgh for the 2014-2015 school year. We hope this website will give everyone a chance to learn about this exciting gymnast and to get up-to-date reports on how she is doing with her gymnastics career.
