Taylor Marie Miranda was born on July 9, 2000 in Sacramento, CA. She is the middle child to Rob and Kristin Miranda and she has two brothers, Jacob and Brady. Currently, Taylor is a senior at Pleasant Grove High School and will graduate in 2018. During Taylor's spare time, she enjoys Cross Fit and Olympic Weight Lifting.

Taylor had a lot of energy and was a daredevil when she was a toddler, so her mom decided to enroll her into gymnastics for fun in 2002. Taylor was asked to join pre-team at Byers Elk Grove and quickly progressed in the sport. At the beginning of her gymnastics career, she trained under coaches Debbie Rodriguez, Eli Rodriguez and Mas Watanabe.

As a level 7 gymnast in 2010, Taylor finished third in the all-around and second on balance beam at the State Championships. She moved up to level 8 for the 2011 season where she finished sixth in the all-around, third on uneven bars and fifth on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 1 Championships, she placed ninth in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise.

Taylor moved up to level 9 for the 2012 season. She finished eighth in the all-around with a 37.075 and third on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 1 Championships, she earned a bronze medal on floor exercise with a 9.575. In 2013, Taylor continued competing level 9. At the State Championships, she finished eighth in the all-around and fifth on floor exercise. She qualified to the Region 1 Championships, finishing a seventh on floor exercise.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2014, Taylor finished first on balance beam and third on floor exercise at the State Championships. She had a solid meet at the Region 1 Championships, finishing sixth on floor exercise and seventh on balance beam. In the summer of 2014, Taylor started training at Dream Xtreme Gymnastics in Vacavile, CA. In 2015, Taylor finished eighth in the all-around and third on vault at the State Championships and qualified to the Region 1 Championships.

In 2016, Taylor placed eighth in the all-around and sixth on floor exercise with a 9.325 at the State Championships. At the Region 1 Championships, she placed eighth on floor exercise with a 9.475.

Currently, Taylor is preparing for the 2017 season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 25-30 hours per week at Dream Xtreme Gymnastics in Vacaville, CA under coaches Annie Baker and Jen Pero. Taylor is working hard to reach her long-term goal to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
