Victoria Gatzendorfer was born on October 15, 2003 in Connecticut to Kathleen and William Gatzendorfer. She has an older sister, Kristin and an older brother, Carl. Victoria recently graduated from Jay M Robinson Middle School with academic honors as a member of the National Junior Honor Society and recipient of the Social Studies Academic Achievement Award. She plans to continue making academics a priority at Weddington High School as a member of the class of 2021. Outside of gymnastics, Victoria enjoys dancing, traveling, trying new food, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Victoria began her gymnastics career at Kinetic Kids in Oxford, CT where she trained under coaches Hal & Sally Rettstadt, Patty Lawlor and Mark Sorrentino. Representing Kinetic Kids, she finished second in the all-around and first on floor exercise at the 2014 Optional Level 6 CT State Championships. In the summer of 2014, Victoria's family moved to Maryland due to employment relocation. At that time, Victoria started training at Hill's Gymnastics in Gaithersburg, MD under coaches Kelli Hill, Cynthia Smaha, Igor Kniazev, Katrina Evanoff and Kevin Allen.

As a level 7 gymnast in 2015, Victoria finished third in the all-around with a 37.325, second on balance beam and floor exercise and third on uneven bars at the MD State Championships. Competing level 8 for the 2016 season, Victoria placed sixth in the all-around and first on balance beam and floor exercise at the MD State Championships. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships where she finished sixth on floor exercise. Due to another job relocation, Victoria's family moved to North Carolina in December 2016. At that time, Victoria began training at Southeastern Gymnastics in Weddington, NC.

Representing Southeastern Gymnastics for the 2017 Season, Victoria competed level 9. At the NC State Championships, Victoria placed fourth in the all-around with a 37.025, second on vault and third on balance beam advancing to Region 8 Championships. At regionals, she finished seventh in the all-around with a 37.025, second on vault and fourth on floor exercise. Victoria qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Lansing, MI where she placed second in the all-around with a 37.550, second on vault and floor exercise and fourth on uneven bars.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2018, Victoria placed fourth in the all-around with a 37.875 and fourth on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she finished fourth in the all-around with 37.550, third on floor exercise and fifth on uneven bars. Victoria qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Cincinnati, OH where she finished impressive seventh in the all-around with a 37.875, third on balance beam and fifth on uneven bars. In 2019, Victoria placed seventh in the all-around with a 37.300 at the State Championships. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Indianapolis, IN after finishing seventh in the all-around with a 37.725 and fifth on floor exercise at the Region 8 Championships. In 2020, Victoria qualified to the Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Victoria trains 25 hours per week at Southeastern Gymnastics in Weddington, NC, under coaches Ludmilla Shobe and Sofia Managadze. Victoria is working hard to become a successful level 10 gymnast as well as to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
