Victoria Henry was born on September 10, 2002, in Olympia, WA to Joseph and Robyn Henry. She is greatly loved by her sister, Janessa, and brother, Joseph Jr. Currently, Victoria is an honor student in high school attending Charles J. Colgan Sr. High School, and will graduate in 2020. When she has time outside of gymnastics, she loves to swim, shop, and play computer games with her friends.

Victoria started gymnastics because she needed to funnel her energy into something a little more constructive, and in a safe environment. In other words, Victoria was scaring the daylights out of her preschool teacher everyday while she played on the playground. So, Victoria’s mom enrolled her in a tumbling class at the age of four at a gym in Missouri where they lived. She loved the class and excelled quickly!  Naturally, she was immediately invited to train with the pre-team gymnastics program. In 2008, Victoria and her family moved to Virginia where she started training at Apollo Gymnastics in Woodbridge. Victoria started competing at the age of six in 2008. As a level 4 gymnast, she placed third on vault at the State Championships in 2010.

In 2011, Victoria placed third on floor exercise and second in the all-around at the Level 5 State Championships. Because of her natural talent and discipline in the gym, Victoria skipped level 6 and quickly moved to level 7, where she flourished in the optional program.  Victoria placed fifth in the all-around at the 2012 State Championships. At the 2013 Level 8 State Championships, Victoria placed third in the all-around with a 37.550 and third on uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise  She went on to represent the state of Virginia at the Region 7 Championship.  In 2014, Victoria continued as a seasoned level 8, making it all the way to Regionals.  In 2015, Victoria placed second in the all-around at the Level 9 State Championship. In 2016, Victoria placed fifth in the all-around with a 36.750 at the State Championships. She also qualified to the Region 7 Championships where she placed fifth on uneven bars and seventh in the all-around.  Victoria went on to represent Region 7 at the Level 9 Eastern Championships where her team place second.

Victoria moved up to level 10 for the 2017 season. She earned bronze medals on vault, uneven bars and in the all-around at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships where she finished in the top ten in the all-around and sixth on vault with a 9.450. In 2018, Victoria placed second in the all-around with a 38.050 and second on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, she finished third in the all-around and second on vault. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Columbus, OH, finishing 13th overall with a 37.825, 14th on vault and 15th on uneven bars out of 57 gymnasts.

In 2019, Victoria earned gold medals on vault and in the all-around at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, she finished second in the all-around with a 37.750 and second on vault and uneven bars. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Indianapolis, IN, finishing third in the all-around with a 37.825 and second on floor exercise. She made the JO National Team.
