Zoë Norton was born on March 21, 2004 in Michigan to Brent and Alicia Norton. She has an older sister, Izzy and two labs named Archie and Jack. Currently, Zoë is an honor student at Connections Academy and she will graduate from high school in 2022. When Zoë has time outside of gymnastics, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, riding her bike and traveling.

Zoë was always flipping around the house, so her parents decided to enroll her into gymnastics so she could have a safe place to burn off her energy. In the summer of 2013, Zoë moved to Oakland Gymnastics Training Center. At the 2014 Level 4 State Championships, Zoë placed fourth on uneven bars with a 9.375. She tested out of level 5, skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2015 season. At the 2015 Level 7 State Championships, Zoë placed seventh in the all-around, second on uneven bars and fourth on balance beam.

As a first-year level 8 gymnast in 2016, Zoë won the floor exercise title with a 9.475 at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships where she finished seventh in the all-around, second on uneven bars, third on balance beam and fifth on floor exercise. Zoë continued competing level 8 in 2017 where she placed fifth in the all-around with a 37.325, first on balance beam and fourth on uneven bars at the State Championships. At the Region 5 Championships, Zoë finished third in the all-around with a 37.975. She also placed second on floor exercise, fifth on balance beam and sixth on uneven bars. Zoë moved up to level 9 for the 2018 season. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships.

Zoë trains 24 hours per week at Oakland Gymnastics Training Center under coaches Ruth Miller, Chris Miller, Renee Henry and Mel Foster. She is working hard to qualify to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals. Her long-term goal is to obtain a Division I college scholarship.
