Alivia's mom was a gymnast and she thought gymnastics would be fun for Alivia to try. Alivia has been training at Twin City Twisters in Champlin, MN since she was a level 5 gymnast. As a level 7 gymnast in 2011, Alivia finished third in the all-around with a 37.525 and third on uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise at the State Championships. She moved up to level 8 for the 2012 season where she won the all-around title with a 38.325 and placed first on uneven bars and second on vault at the State Championships. At the Region 4 Championships, Alivia placed fourth in the all-around with a 38.000, second on floor exercise and fourth on balance beam.
As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2013, Alivia placed third on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 4 Championships, she finished second in the all-around with a 37.000, first on balance beam and fourth on floor exercise. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals where she placed ninth on balance beam. In 2014, Alivia finished fourth in the all-around with a 37.025 and fourth on balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 4 Championships, she placed first in the all-around with a 37.625, first on uneven bars and second on vault and balance beam. Alivia qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals where she placed fifth in the all-around with a 37.300.
During Alivia's third and final level 9 season in 2015, she won the all-around title with a 38.025 at the State Championships. She also placed first on uneven bars, second on balance beam and third on vault and floor exercise. Alivia finished first in the all-around with a 37.575, first on floor exercise, second on uneven bars and balance beam and third on vault at the Region 4 Championships. Alivia qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals for the third time where she placed 14th overall, first on floor exercise and seventh on vault and uneven bars.
In 2016 as a first-year level 10 gymnast, Alivia finished fifth in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise at the State Championships. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Ft. Worth, TX after finishing fifth in the all-around and second on vault and floor exercise at the Region 4 Championships. In 2017, Alivia placed fourth in the all-around and fourth on vault at the State Championships. At the Region 4 Championships, she finished first in the all-around with a 37.350 and first on vault and floor exercise. Alivia qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Indianapolis, IN, finishing 17th overall.
Currently, Alivia is preparing for the 2018 season season as a level 10 gymnast. She trains 20 hours per week at Twin City Twisters in Champlin, MN under coaches Mike Hunger, Sami Wozney and Sarah Jantzi. She is working hard to become a successful level 10 gymnast as well as to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
