Allee Kay Lynne Sombatchareun was born on May 20, 2005 in Merriam, KS to John and Rebecca Sombatchareun. She has two older brothers, Kai and Chay, two dogs, three cats and two horses. Allee is a student at Pleasanton High School and she will graduate from high school in 2023. When Allee has time outside of gymnastics, she enjoys drawing, playing the saxophone and hanging out with her friends.

At the age of two, Allee's parents noticed that Allee was unusually strong. As she got older they noticed she had an amazing sense of balance. She would walk around the back of the couch without holding on to anything, it was two inches wide! The first time she touched a balance beam, she was six and she landed a perfect cartwheel. Allee began with a small gym that was closer to home, but after a year, she moved to Diamond Gymnastics Academy in Stilwell, KS and has been there ever since.

Allee competed as a level 6 gymnast in 2017 where she placed sixth in the all-around and first on balance beam at the State Championships. She moved up to level 7 for the 2018 season where she placed second in the all-around, first on uneven bars and third on floor exercise. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships, finishing second in the all-around with a 37.775, first on balance beam and fourth on uneven bars. As a level 8 gymnast in 2019, Allee finished second in the all-around with a 37.175 and first on uneven bars and balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships, finishing second in the all-around and second on balance beam.

Allee trains 21 hours per week at Diamond Gymnastics Academy in Stilwell, KS under coaches Becky Wambsgans, Marta Christgen and Jeremy Bourdette. She is working hard to qualify to the Level 9 Western Nationals in 2020. Allee's goal is to go as far as the sport will take her, particularly to earn a college scholarship and eventually to coach and run her own program.
