At the beginning of Ally's gymnastics career, she trained at Georgia All-Stars Gymnastics in Woodstock, GA. She was the 2018 Level 7 GA State All-Around, Vault and Uneven Bars Silver Medalist and 2018 Level 7 Regional Qualifier. In 2019 as a level 8 gymnast, Ally grabbed gold medals on balance beam and in the all-around at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, finishing sixth in the all-around and seventh on uneven bars and balance beam.

Following her 2019 season, Ally moved to Gymnastics Academy of Atlanta in Kennesaw, GA. Ally qualified to the 2020 Level 9 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. She continued competing level 9 for the 2021 season where she qualified to the State Championships once again but was unable to compete due to an injury. As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2022, Ally qualified to the Region 8 Championships. In the summer of 2023, Ally moved to Georgia Elite Gymnastics in Watkinsville, GA.

When Ally isn't busy training 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys reading, crafting, baking, hiking and biking. She is the daughter to Melissa and Nick Lubbers and she has two sisters, Gabby and Lacy. Currently, Ally is an honor student at River Ridge High School and she will graduate in 2024. She is a member of Beta Club.
