Amanda Scheuerman was born on February 28, 2004 in New York to Kevin and Dina Scheuerman. She has three older brothers, Nicholas, Christopher and Gregory. Currently, Amanda is an honor student at Old Bridge High School and she will graduate in 2022. During her spare time, she enjoys shopping, hanging out with her friends and coloring.

Amanda started taking recreational classes for fun when she was eight years old at a local gym. She began her competitive gymnastics career at Premier Gymnastics in Morganville, NJ. When she was at Premier, Amanda placed third in the all-around with a 37.525 at the 2016 Level 8 Regionals and qualified to the 2017 Level 9 Regionals. Following her 2017 season, she moved to Action Gymnastics in Millstone, NJ.

In 2018, Amanda finished second on uneven bars and third on vault at the Level 9 State Championships. She did well at the Region 7 Championships, finishing seventh in the all-around and first on vault with a 9.675. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Rochester, NY. Amanda moved up to level 10 for the 2019 season. She earned a bronze medal on balance beam with a 9.550 at the State Championships, qualifying to Region 7 Championships. Amanda qualified to the 2020 Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2021, Amanda placed fourth on uneven bars and seventh overall at the Level 10 State Championships. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals after finishing seventh in the all-around and fourth on uneven bars at the Region 7 Championships.

Amanda trains over 25 hours per week Action Gymnastics in Freehold, NJ under coaches Magda During, Bob Farrell and Tatiana Tcheremnykh. She is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals and to compete for a Division I college gymnastics team.
