Amelia started taking Mommy and Me classes at Legacy Gymnastics in Lexington, KY when she was three years old and she has been there ever since! She started competing level 3 in 2013 at the age of seven. She was the 2014 Level 3 State Uneven Bars Champion, 2015 Level 4 State Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and All-Around Champion and 2016 Level 5 State Vault and All-Around Champion.

Amelia skipped levels 6 and 7 and quickly moved up to level 8 for the 2017 season. Amelia did well at the State Championships where she placed first in the all-around with a 37.525 and first on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise. At the Region 5 Championships, she placed seventh in the all-around with a 37.400 and third on vault. She moved up to level 9 for the 2018 season where she finished first in the all-around, first on balance beam and second on vault and uneven bars. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships, finishing third on vault. Amelia also participated in the National Elite Qualifier in the summer.

In 2019 as a level 10 gymnast, Amelia placed second on floor exercise, fourth on balance beam and sixth in the all-around at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships. In 2020, Amelia qualified to the Level 10 State Championship but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. In 2023, Amelia placed first in the all-around and first on uneven bars and balance beam at the Level 10 State Championships. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships, finishing eighth on balance beam.

Amelia trains 27 hours per week at Legacy Gymnastics in Lexington, KY under coaches Natalie White and Scott Austin. Amelia is working hard to qualify to the Level 10 Nationals. Her long-term goal is to obtain a Division I college scholarship.
