Angelina started gymnastics in 2008 with recreational classes then joined team in 2012 at Lake Norman Gymnastics Academy in Denver, NC. Angelina loves the sport and the challenge of learning new skills. As a level 6 gymnast in 2016, Angelina placed third in the all-around with a 37.000 and second on uneven bars and floor exercise at the State Championships. In 2017, she placed seventh in the all-around and fifth on floor exercise at the Level 7 NC State Championships. Angelina moved up to level 8 for the next two seasons. She placed fifth on balance beam and floor exercise and sixth in the all-around at the 2018 Level 8 State Championships. In 2019, Angelina placed sixth in the all-around and third on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, finishing fifth in the all-around and first on uneven bars.

Angelina Midas was born on October 10, 2002 in Florida to Todd and Lena Midas. She has an older brother, Vince and three dogs named Buddy, Larry and Coco Bean. Currently, Angelina is an honor student at Lincoln Charter School Denver Campus and she will graduate in 2021. When Angelina has time outside of gymnastics, she enjoys baking and art.
