Anna's cousin was on a gymnastics team and Anna's parents thought gymnastics would be a fun sport for Anna to try. She started recreational gymnastics when she was five years old at Classic Gymnastics in Minnesota and has been there her whole gymnastics career. Anna was the 2015 Level 4 MN State Vault and Floor Exercise Silver Medalist, 2016 Level 5 MN State Vault Silver Medalist and All-Around Bronze Medalist and 2017 Level 7 MN State Vault Silver Medalist.

In 2018 as a level 8 gymnast, Anna placed fourth in the all-around and fourth on balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 4 Championships where she finished fifth in the all-around and first on floor exercise. Anna moved up to level 9 for the 2019 season. She placed second on balance beam and third on vault at the State Championships. Anna finished fourth in the all-around and second on balance beam at the Region 4 Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals where she placed sixth in the all-around and third on vault. Anna qualified to the 2020 Level 9 State Championships but was unable to compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Anna competed as a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2021 where she placed eighth in the all-around and fifth on balance beam at the Region 4 Championships. She was the first alternate for the Level 10 Nationals. In 2022, Anna was limited to two events most of the season due to a minor injury. Anna placed eighth on balance beam at the Region 4 Championships. Anna placed seventh on balance beam at both 2023 Level 10 State Championships and 2023 Region 4 Championships.

When Anna isn't busy training 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys baking and spending time with her family and friends. She is an honor student at Chanhassen High School and she will graduate in 2024.
