Anya loved to tumble all over the house, so her parents decided to enroll her into gymnastics for fun when she was four years old. She began her competitive gymnastics career at Adrenaline Gymnastics Academy in Centennial, CO where she trained until 2018. Anya was the 2013 Level 4 CO State Floor Exercise Champion. She skipped level 5 and level 6 before moving up to level 7 for the 2015 season. She placed seventh in the all-around, first on balance beam and second on floor exercise at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships. Anya was named to America's Top 100 on balance beam.

As a level 8 gymnast in 2016, Anya placed first on floor exercise and second on balance beam (9.9) at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she earned a gold medal on balance beam with a 9.750. Anya was named to America's Top 100 on balance beam (2x) in level 8. Anya competed level 9 for the next two seasons. At the 2017 State Championships, Anya placed third in the all-around and first on balance beam with a 9.775. At the 2017 Region 3 Championships, she finished fourth on balance beam. In 2018, Anya earned gold medals on balance beam and in the all-around with a 38.100 at the State Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals after finishing fourth in the all-around and third on balance beam at the Region 3 Championships. At the Western Nationals, Anya placed second on balance beam and sixth overall. Anya was named to America's Top 100 on balance beam (5x) and in the all-around in level 9.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2019, Anya earned a silver medal on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she finished in the top ten in the all-around and third on balance beam. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals where she took home a bronze medal on floor exercise. Following her 2019 season, she left her long-time gym and began training at Colorado Gymnastics Institute (CGI ) in Aurora, CO. Anya qualified to the 2020 Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2021, Anya placed third on floor exercise at the Level 10 State Championships. She finished third in the all-around with a 37.775 and second on floor exercise at the Region 3 Championships. This qualified Anya to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL where she finished 13th overall with a 37.775 and third on floor exercise with a 9.800.

When Anya isn't busy training over 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys music. She is an honor student at Valor Christian High School and she will graduate in 2023. Anya has participated in multiple community service activities including two trips to Mexico to build homes for homeless families.
